HP FlexNetwork 5130 48G 4SFP+ 1-slot HI Switch JH324A

- HPE FlexNetwork 5130 HI Series switches deliver scalability and resiliency at the access layer of medium and large enterprise campus networks. 

- This JH324A has 48 x 10/100/1000 ports and 4 x GbE SFP slots and 2x 10GbE SFP+ slots. At the back of the unit, is an empty module slot supporting two choices of expansion module, either 2 port 1/10GBASE T module or 2 port SFP+ ports. 

Features

Layer 2 switching

- 32K MAC address table, provides access to many Layer 2 devices.

- VLAN support and tagging: Supports IEEE 802.1Q with 4094 simultaneous VLAN IDs.

- 10GbE port aggregation allows grouping of ports to increase overall data throughput to a remote device.

- Device Link Detection Protocol (DLDP).

Layer 3 routing

- Static IP routing: Provides manually configured routing for both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

- Uses a distance vector algorithm with UDP packets for route determination; supports RIPv1 and RIPv2 routing; includes loop protection.

Security

- ACLs provide IP Layer 2 to Layer 4 traffic filtering and support global ACL, VLAN ACL, port ACL, and IPv6 ACL.

- Security with encryption of all access methods (CLI, GUI, or MIB) through SSHv2, SSL, and/or SNMPv3, and other features including DHCP protection, IP source guard, dynamic ARP protection and RADIUS/ HWTACAS.

Quality of Service (QoS)

- The HPE FlexNetwork 5130 HI Switch Series supports advanced classifier-based QoS which groups traffic using multiple match criteria based on Layer 2 and 3 information; applies QoS policies such as setting priority level and rate limit to selected traffic on a port, VLAN, or whole switch.
